The Essence of Feminine Leadership

The Essence of Feminine Leadership

Power. Influence. Perseverance

From glass ceilings and work-life balance to “leaning in” and office politics, the issues for women leaders continue to stir conversation and controversy. While women are making it to the corner office, the practice still generates headlines. The focus of this unique women’s leadership program is to help women leaders act with power, effectively navigate the workplace and take the lead in driving new strategies and their execution. Do men and women differ in their leadership styles? Are they perceived differently even when they do the same thing? Research shows that the answer is a resounding “yes.” And the implications are significant for women in the workplace, which is exactly why this program for women leaders was created.

This research-driven, career-enhancing experience is designed to provide clarity on style, the way women negotiate and manage teams; it is designed to fundamentally help them challenge assumptions, confront anxiety, and turn obstacles into opportunities. As we facilitate the participants to explore their selves for insights as well as understand how they can leverage their personal and professional networks, we also provide them an opportunity to share experience with other dedicated and influential women leaders who will join as guest speakers.  The program brings in perspectives to understand the perceptions, behaviors, stereotypes, and backlash that women uniquely face and then transforms those empirical results into effective workable solutions.

More specifically the program deals with leadership, styles, negotiation, team effectiveness, power and authority relationships, balance, networks, and influence. These are critical, often complex and yet essential — to enhance power, navigate the workplace, and take the lead.
